Mission Statement

"We, the people of St. Luke’s Parish, in the Diocese of Dallas, are called through Baptism to celebrate the presence of Christ in Word and Sacrament. We are called and sent by Christ to live gratefully the life God has given us and to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. In the spirit of faith, service, and community, we strive to bring people closer together and closer to God. This we accomplish by:
* Building our lives in the image of Christ through worship and prayer.
* Contributing to the growth of our parish by spreading the Gospel by word, witness, action, and evangelization.
* Inviting everyone to serve, in this way meeting the needs of our parishioners and the broader community.
* Being faithful stewards of St. Luke, accountable to God for by responsibly sharing our time, talents, and treasures.
* Lending support to the parish leadership and working together to fulfill the mission."

“Nosotros, miembros de la Parroquia de San Lucas, en la Diócesis de Dallas, somos llamados y enviados por Cristo a vivir en gratitud la vida que Dios nos dio, y a proclamar la buena noticia de Jesucristo. En espíritu de fe, servicio y comunidad trabajamos para que las personas vivan más unidas entre sí y con Dios. Esto lo logramos así:
*Construyendo nuestras vidas a imagen de Cristo por medio del culto y de la oración.
*Contribuyendo al crecimiento de nuestra Parroquia propagada el Evangelio en palabras, testimonio, acción y evangelización.
*Invitando a todos al servicio común, respondiendo a las necesidades de la comunidad y de la sociedad local.
*Compartiendo con fidelidad y responsabilidad nuestro tiempo, talentos y tesoros, pensando al bien común y una respuesta fiel al Dios que nos llama.
*Dando nuestro apoyo al liderazgo parroquial, trabajando juntos, cumpliendo asi nuestra misión.”
