Propósito De nuestro Grupo/Group Mission: Es servir y alabar a Dios. Nuestra meta es de motivar a jovenes y adultos en que participen a servir en la iglesia por medio de el coro. Our purpose is to serve and praise God through music. Our goal is to motivate youth and adults to participate in the Mass through the choir.

Información Sobre el grupo/Group Information:
Nuestro coro inicio el año 2013, es formado por jovenes y adultos. Invitamos a niños de 13 años para arriba que participen en el coro. Our choir started in 2013, and is formed by youth and adults. We invite children 13 years old and above to participate in the choir. Si saben cómo tocar un instrumento pueden venir al ensayo o comunicarse con Erica Enciso para más información.

Los ensayos son cada viernes 8:30pm.

Cantamos en la misa de 9:00AM los domingos.

If you know how to play an instrument you can come to the rehearsal or contact Erica Enciso for more information.
The rehearsals are every Friday 8:30 pm.
We sing at the 9:00 AM Mass on Sundays.

Group History
Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas are united by their faith in Jesus Christ, in their devotion to the church and the Holy See.
Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court #2006, Our Lady of the Skyways was founded in November 1969 to serve St. Luke and Holy Family of Nazerth parishes. This is our 50th year.
Who are the Catholic Daughters?
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas.
They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.
The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity.”
The CDA was formed over 100 years ago and today numbers 66,000 dues-paying members in 1,150 courts (local chapters) in 45 states across the country and in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam the Virgin Islands, Kenya and Peru.

Number of Members in your group: Around 250 people (Registered in our email distribution), but it can be bigger if we consider a family behind each email.

The purpose of your group: Keep living our Catholic religious in the USA in our Native language (Portuguese)

Group Activities: Portuguese mass every Sunday at 6:00 PM; Rosaries, Night of Plays, Rehearsal, Eucharistic Adoration, St Luke Festival-Brazilian Booth, “Nossa Senhora Aparecida” Party, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, etc…

History: Our organization’s beginnings go back to 1935.

Purpose: Support the Altar, Priests, and Altar Servers. Purchase hosts, wine, flowers, vestments, supervise the cleaning of the Church twice a year and other items as requested by the priests. Promote a social environment (help develop life-long friendships along with serving our Lord and the St. Luke Community.

Fundraising: Raise funds to purchase items by having a Holiday Bazaar, Garage Sales, and Tea Party.

The Altar Society meets on the 1st Thursday of each month (September-December & February- April & first Sunday in May) @ 7:00 PM in the cafeteria. All ladies of our parish are cordially invited to attend and see how they can help serve our Lord.
